New Tunes: The Men – Turn Your Color

The transformation of The Men from Brooklyn noise-punks to Americana folk rock worshippers continues with one of the new tracks from the forthcoming EP “Campfire Songs” and personally I’m all for said transformation. This particular diddy is at times a bit of a spooky affair but also hearkens back the nostalgic days of finding the perfect soundtrack for 5AM sunrise stumbles home. The Men are getting better and better with each album at creating a particular atmospheric mood and “Turn Your Color” definitely seems to nail it on an album as aptly named as Campfire Songs.
